I have an assignment for my visual studies class to investigate a single work of art in ARTstor. The first thing I'll do is open a web browser and go to artstor.org. Once that page loads I will move to the right and click on the "go" button to enter the digital library. My instructor has set aside a folder for our class so, I will open the Folders and Image group section on this page. I will scroll down this list, until I see it. There it is, Visual Studies 101. Wheni sect the plus sign the folder opens so I can see the image groups within it. I open it by double clicking on the image group or by using the open button. Now I have already looked at the images in this group and I have decided that this is the one I will use for my class. I will double click on it to get it in a larger window. I will need to use this entire image for my presentation so I will move over here to the lower right and click on the download button to save it to my computer. I will accept the terms and conditions and save it to a folder that lives on my desktop. Then I will go into that folder see that two files downloaded. One is the image, and the other is caption information. I'm going to go ahead and rename both right now. Then I will go back to ARTstor and look for a detail I'd like to use for class.
