Title: "Using The Cursor Target" Blender is a open source 3D application. While this tutorial is 5 years old it is still relevant. Learn this, you can pick up blender 2.45, no problem. Blender 2.25 is still available for windows and other platforms such as Linux, but MacOSX version is probably not the Intel version. 2.25 was the last commercial version of blender before it went open source, so it is considered "very stable". Also work created in 2.25 should be compatible with blender 2.45 ...
